Inclusive leaders are the voice for fairness on their team


Team leaders at every level have a duty of care to the people on their team and this extends to being skillful and proactive in efforts around diversity and inclusion. Too often, marginalized team members are forced to be the ones that have to be the voice of fairness or justice, when in fact, the leader should take this role. This kind of leadership encourages a workplace that is comfortable for all, and thereby inclusive by definition. This class describes the landscape of these leadership duties with tools and examples.
