Hospital workers are increasingly being exposed to the distress and suffering of children and adolescents as part of their work. Caregiver Fatigue is a natural and inevitable response to the toxic stress caused by this exposure and left unchecked leads to exhaustion and burnout. An important role of the team is to promote the health and wellbeing of their members by deliberately emphasizing team care, resilience, and compassion satisfaction in the workplace. This class takes the learner through specific strategies to do this.
