About Us

Our goal is to make our communities stronger through mental health and trauma education.

We support agencies wanting to improve the skills of their staff as they work with people experiencing mental health concerns and trauma. We bring the experience of a leading mental health agency to help in practical ways as our community works to create shared and supportive spaces for all people. We offer skills for connecting in crisis, recognizing a better way to work with those experiencing the effects of trauma, and working with the many different ways that mental health presents.

Forward-thinking organizations are recognizing that working with the general public means that their front-line employees are being asked to effectively work with vulnerable populations and de-escalate tense situations, all while carrying out their day-to-day responsibilities. Leaders recognize that they need to prepare their staff for these realities.

We strive to impart learners with the most applicable skills that they can immediately put into practice through classes that engage and encourage. Our trainings are designed for a broad audience including mental health practitioners, librarians, transit operators, shelter and food shelf workers, transportation road crews, law enforcement, retail, grocery store clerks, museum workers, rail operators, and property managers. Let us develop a customized plan to prepare your staff for complex scenarios and bolster your employees' skills and personal mental health in the face of such interactions.
