Adjunct Instructor

Candida Crasto, MA, LPC (she/her) is a first-generation Indian-American woman and the daughter of two immigrant parents. Her personal journey has centered around exploring identity—particularly how it intersects with self-acceptance, self-worth, and self-actualization. These themes, she believes, are not only foundational to individual growth but also deeply woven into the fabric of our relationships—with partners, children, friends, and communities. Candida holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Sofia University, and is seeking LMFT licensure. Her professional path has spanned diverse environments, including large corporations, start-ups, product development, and sales and marketing. She is also the co-founder of two companies. Her decision to pursue therapy as a profession stems from her own transformative experience with therapy and a strong belief in each person’s potential to discover and embrace their authentic self.
