Trauma-Sensitive Parenting and Caregiving
Description
Home and school environments can be overwhelming for a child, especially when they have experienced trauma and adversity. Parents and caregivers can play a crucial role in creating a sense of safety and stability by practicing trauma-informed care and being trauma-sensitive. This course provides an overview of trauma, attachment, and childhood adversity while offering practical strategies to reduce re-traumatization and foster a healing-centered approach in the home or school setting.
