Creating Safe and Culturally Responsive Environments for Children

Description

Children need safe, structured, and culturally responsive environments to thrive. This training provides caregivers with essential tools to create a nurturing and inclusive space for children who have experienced trauma or adversity. Participants will learn to establish structure, assess risk factors for unsafe situations, and incorporate cultural responsiveness into caregiving practices. The course also explores the role of cultural identity in child development, helping caregivers foster belonging, equity, and inclusion.
