Adaptive Leadership Principles

Description

Adaptive Leadership calls for a continual process of learning new things as conditions inside and outside the organization change. If one technique is not yielding desired results, the adaptive leader goes out of their way to discover new strategies that can provide solutions to these “adaptive challenges.” The process of adaptive leadership promotes adaptive behaviors within the workforce. Through principles centered in organizational justice and emotional intelligence, the adaptive leader can tackle resistance to organizational change from employees, clients, and other stakeholders. This class provides learners with an overview of the approach to set the stage for organizational change and growth.
