Managing Conflict
Description
Conflict management is the use of processes, tools, and skills to find creative and respectful ways to manage disagreements and disputes. Managers typically spend about one fourth of their time dealing with conflict so by better understanding the roots of conflict and the different options available for resolution, they can lead more effectively. The process of learning begins with identifying one’s default conflict style and the types of conflict that are occurring while moving to preparing a response with the aim of a resolution.
