Mental Health Considerations in Children

Mental health is the foundation of how a child thinks, regulates emotions, and interacts with the world. This course explores mental health and mental illness in children and adolescents, highlighting common diagnoses, signs, symptoms, and treatment options. Participants will gain insight into how mental health disorders impact a child’s ability to function at home and school, with guidance on recognizing and responding to mental health challenges.
