Description

Person-Centered Practices are ways of working with people that create partnerships. It brings together things that are important to the person, and the expertise of the worker resulting in a plan for wellness that is meaningful to the person receiving services. Providing this kind of support involves awareness of power imbalances and the role of stigma and stereotypes. This class offers specific strategies and language that foster a collaborative approach to treatment planning and different elements in a person’s wellbeing.
